There are moments in life that change everything.
Times when you’re asked to make decisions, support someone you love, or face uncertainty without a clear path forward.
In those moments, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, unsure, or alone.
This work exists to offer clarity, support, and an experienced presence, so you don’t have to carry it all on your own.
Meet Lorrin,
Lorrin is a nurse, educator, turned coach with nearly 40 years of experience supporting individuals and families through illness, aging decline, and life transitions, and death and beyond.
Her work has taken her through a wide range of medical settings, including oncology, pediatrics, palliative care, and transplants in different countries and cultures. Through this, she has developed a deep understanding of both the clinical and emotional realities people face during times of change.
She has witnessed and experienced firsthand how often individuals and families are left feeling uncertain of what to ask, what to say, or what to do next.
Why This Work Matters,
At the heart of Lorrin’s work is a deep belief that people deserve to feel informed, supported, and empowered to advocate for themselves and the people they love.
Too often, individuals are placed in situations where they feel overwhelmed, rushed to make major decisions or disconnected from the decisions being made around them.
Lorrin’s role is to help bring clarity to those moments—so people can move forward with greater confidence, understanding, and a sense of peace.
Lorrin’s services provide guidance for older adults and their families in exploring care options, including aging in place, transitioning to a seniors’ community, assisted living, or complex care. Support is offered with a focus on advocacy, ensuring each individual’s wishes are heard and respected, without imposing outside agendas. It also includes thoughtful guidance on when to begin conversations around advance directives, the different types of power of attorney, and planning ahead to ensure safety, dignity, and well-informed decision-making.
Her Approach,
Lorrin’s approach blends practical guidance from personal and professional lived experience with emotional and, when desired, spiritual support.
She helps people understand what is happening, what their options are, and how to move forward in a way that feels aligned and compassionate.
This includes:
Clarifying next steps and care options, discussions of protective documents i.e. advanced directives, power of attorney
Supporting meaningful conversations within families
Encouraging confident, informed decision-making
Offering grounding tools to ease overwhelm
Her work is always tailored to the individual, meeting people exactly where they are.
